Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and what we will never do with it. Last updated: August 12, 2026.

Our policy

We collect your email address if you ask for a guide or the newsletter, and your phone number if you ask for text alerts. We use them to send you what you asked for. We do not sell your personal information. You can leave any time.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Email address — when you request a guide, subscribe to The Daily 3, or download the numbers PDF.
  • Phone number — only if you text our keyword or submit it on a form asking for text alerts.
  • Name — where a form asks for it.
  • Messages you send us — email, comments, or replies.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard web analytics: pages visited, approximate location by region, device and browser type, and how you arrived.
  • Cookies used for site function and analytics.

What we do NOT collect

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, bank account details, or medical records. No legitimate page on this site will ever request them. If something claiming to be us asks, it is not us.

How we use it

  • To send the guides, newsletters, and alerts you requested.
  • To answer you when you write to us.
  • To understand which content helps, so we make more of it.
  • To comply with the law.

Text messages

If you join our text list, you consent to receive recurring automated messages about benefits updates. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to end messages at any time, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing.

Who we share with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — for example our email platform, our SMS platform, our website host, and analytics — and only so they can do that work.

Partner and affiliate links are different. When you click through to a partner or affiliate, you leave our site and that company’s privacy policy governs what happens next. We do not hand them your email or phone number just because you visited our page.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it.
  • Text STOP to end text messages.
  • Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it — email hello@benefitsinsider.co.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. We honor those requests regardless of your state.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced to our email list.
